The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, heir of the Gallardo, is the most “accessible” of the Sant’Agata Bolognese supercars. The engine architecture is the same – it is a 5.2-liter V10 – and the transmission provides for four-wheel drive: helps to discharge the 610 hp of power (obtained at 8250 rpm) and the maximum torque of 560 Nm (at 6500 rpm).
There is also a version of Lamborghini Huracan with only rear-wheel drive, the LP 580-2, with fewer horsepower (579) and a lighter 30 kg. The ten-cylinder, mounted in a rear-central position (ie behind the two-seat passenger compartment), is built by Volkwsagen and combined with a dual-clutch transmission and seven gears.
32 cm shorter than the Lamborghini Aventador (the body is 446 cm long, 192 cm wide and only 117 cm high), the Lamborghini Huracán is designed to contain weight (1422 kg declared dry, 1389 for the 580-2 two-wheel drive) and built with extensive use of carbon fiber, integrated with aluminum elements.
The driving dynamics of Lamborghini Huracan are very popular, thanks to the possibility of choosing different driving programs (Road, Comfort and Corsa) to vary the response of the engine, gearbox, steering, suspension and electronic aids, as well as the division of the torque by the 4×4 system: yes it can thus decide to favor reactivity in “extreme” use or (relative) ride comfort. The interior is also characterized by a strong sporty setting, but it does not renounce to a refined style and to precious materials: also available upholstery in nappa leather or Alcantara in numerous color combinations.
