Land Rover presents the restyling of the Range Rover Sport 2018 range. The British off-road vehicle receives aesthetic innovations, upgrades to the interior and a range of engines that now includes a new plug-in version and an even more powerful sport variant. The new Range Rover Sport 2018 will begin to be produced in the coming weeks at the Solihull plant and the first units will arrive in dealerships by the end of 2017. Aesthetically the new Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2018 differs from the outgoing model for the front headlights equipped with Matrix Pixel LED technology, for the slightly updated bumpers in the lines and the redesigned front grille. Also renewed the rear light clusters, the alloy rims and the exhaust terminals. Inside the Range Rover Sport 2018 receives the new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system – to debut on the Range Rover Velar – which has two large 10-inch touch screens each. Furthermore Land Rover now offers the possibility also for the Range Rover to have the Activity Key supplied. In addition to aesthetic novelties, the British luxury SUV comes with a new plug-in hybrid version called the Range Rover Sport P400e and whose powertrain consists of a 300 hp 2.0 petrol engine and an 85 kW electric motor (114 hp ), for a total power of 400 hp and 640 Nm of maximum torque. With this mechanical set-up the Range Rover Sport 2018 shoots from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds and reaches 220 km / h top speed, all with declared consumption of 2.8l / 100 km. In addition, thanks to the 13.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, it can travel up to 50 km in electrical model. But this is not the only mechanical innovation, the list will appear in fact also the new Range Rover Sport SVR 2018 that raises its power to 575 hp and improves the stroke from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds.
