The standard Ferrari is also a daily touring coach: its 799 hp can be brutal or docile depending on the position of the throttle on the steering wheel. In terms of performance, in addition to a powerful V12 aspirated with variable-regulated intake ducts (electrohydraulically regulated), the Ferrari 812 Superfast can count on a very fast dual-clutch transmission. All systems interact with electronics: from the self-locking differential e-Diff to the stability controls, passage for four steering wheels (solution inherited from the Ferrari F12Tdf) and for the “intelligent” shock absorbers. At the debut for a Ferrari electric power steering, once connected to the system that manages the stability of the car, the so-called SSC (Side Slip Angol Control) of fifth generation. Particular attention is paid to the aerodynamics, with solutions inspired by the world of Formula 1: in the front there are mobile flaps that open as the speed increases to change the flow of air under the bottom of the car. At the rear end, in front of the striking puller, are instead of electrically driven fins a change the coefficient of aerodynamic penetration. Even the elaborate design of the bodywork is functional to the aerodynamics and to the management of the air flows in suction and heat outlets.
